CNN openly criticized US President Donald Trump during a live broadcast as his “worrying” behavior raised questions about his well-being.
The news network aired footage of the 79-year-old leader speaking to the nation from the White House.
They presented a compilation of Trump contradicting himself multiple times, within minutes during the same address, as observers said he appeared “unwell”.
At one point, timestamped 12.19, he stated: “We want them to come and help us with the strike.” Then, approximately 40 minutes later, at 12.56, he entirely contradicted himself, declaring: “We don’t need anybody. We are the strongest nation in the world. We have the strongest military in the world by far. We don’t need them!”

Across social media platforms, viewers condemned the footage as they expressed concerns about Trump’s condition.
One individual posted: “Wild watching that montage – one minute ‘US is self-sufficient,’ next ‘allies must step up immediately.’ Strategic ambiguity or just winging it? Either way, not reassuring during week 3 of this mess.”
Another reshared it, including three straightforward words: “He is unwell.” Someone else repeated: “He is obviously declining.”
However, another viewer defended the President. “Did you watch him at 3:45? He seemed fine. He is probably tired,” they suggested, reports the Express.
Previously, cameras and news outlets like CNN documented the concerning instance when Trump appeared to experience a memory lapse during a live television appearance. He was broadcasting live from the White House to lead an event for Women’s History Month alongside his wife, First Lady Melania, when he acknowledged his former counsellor, Kellyanne Conway.
However, Trump seemed to mix up Conway, who served as Senior Counsellor to the President during his first term from 2017 to 2020, with his current press secretary, Karoline Leavitt.
In his address, he praised Conway, asking his audience: “And of course, Kellyanne Conway, has anyone ever heard of her?
He continued: “She’s fantastic. She’s in there fighting. A friend of mine said, ‘You know that Kellyanne, I admire the way she goes in there and she screams at those people’ – meaning the media, because this is a man who doesn’t do very well with the media, it’s just one of those things. But thank you, Kellyanne.”
