🚨🏡 TAYLOR SWIFT & TRAVIS KELCE’S OHIO PRIVACY PLAN HITS A WALL! 😳
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly wanted an 8-foot privacy fence around their massive Lake Erie mansion in Bratenahl, Ohio — but village officials didn’t give the couple the approval they were hoping for. 😱
The $5.35 MILLION property, purchased by Kelce in March, sits on about 3.5 acres and reportedly includes a 21,000-square-foot mansion with eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a game room and home theater. 🏡✨
But there’s a catch…
Bratenahl’s rules generally restrict fences along the lakefront to 2.5 feet, unless the fence is at least 75% see-through. The regulations are intended to protect Lake Erie views and surrounding property values.
The proposed fence reportedly came before the village’s Architectural Review Board in August and again in September without approval. Following discussions with officials and neighbors, reports say the couple agreed to consider a lower, less obstructive fence rather than completely enclosing the estate. A new permit application has reportedly been submitted.
And that’s not the only security measure reportedly being used at the property. Page Six reported that a voice-warning system has been installed around the estate, with a nearby resident saying an automated warning was triggered when someone got too close to the home.
For Taylor and Travis, it appears the challenge is finding the balance between celebrity-level privacy and Bratenahl’s lakefront regulations.
What do YOU think — should homeowners on Lake Erie be allowed to build taller privacy fences around their properties, or should the lake views remain protected? 👀👇
